I went to this auto paint supply shop (Sherwin Williams) looking for some 3M Swirl Remover as recommended here. Well, they didn't have it, so I ended up buying another 3M product p/n 05933 called Perfect-it III Rubing compound.
There's virtually no instructions on the label, but I let a friend of mine use it, and he said it worked fine for some minor scratches he had. I, on the other hand am skeptical about using it on my Black Camaro.
Any ideas, thoughts, tips?
Thanks-Goose :)

I've never heard of it, but I had great luck with Meguiars ScratchX. Give it a try.

It is completely safe and it removes minor clearcoat scratches and swirl marks. Unlike other "scratch removers" it won't leave more scratches than it removes.

From what I gather Perfect-it III is a family of compounds as is Perfect-it II but different from one another. Seems as though it should work for you but I would'nt go any coarser.

I think I would go with this >>>>3M Perfect It III Machine Glaze 05937 instead....

All these companys make sooooooo many different compounds, glazes ect that somtimes you really don't know what the hell to buy..

Check out this link on 3M and look at the choices
