I was wondering what options are out there to richen my car up a little bit. N/A I had an a/f of 12.5 straight across the board. Had bottle opener problems so I was only able to spray about 700psi, until the line was empty (just what was in the line) and my a/f went from the 12.5 to a 13.2 on juice. The guy said that I had a near perfect tune for N/A from the factory, but it was a little too lean for the juice. I will be installing some MAC Mids, with O/R Y in about a month or two. How much richer can I expect the car to run with the headers?
I know I could get a MAFT and tuning, but how about just replacing the injecters to just a one step higher?
I know the HPP3 will lean the car a little, but is there a way to richen it with it?
I have a stock MAF, TB, Bellow. Basically a LID
Thanks in advance.

How big of a shot are you running and it is wet or dry?

You are definatly on the lean side and I would like to see the A/F in almost the 11 range while on bottle. With the mods you have I would opt for the maft if I were you. I ran one one mine when I had heads and cam and a 75 dry shot and it seemed to work well. You could also opt for LS1 edit depending on what pricing options that are available to you. Here in Dallas there are about 6 shops that have LS1 edit so the pricing is very competetive.
You can upgrade the injectors if you want but you don't need to. If you do upgrade you will need to have the car tuned, it is not as easy as just popping in new injectors if you want ti to run correctly.

Thats what I thought. Thanks. I have some money issues right now, but used maft would be easy to get a hold of. I plan on doing a dyno run to check things out once I get the headers on, but is it easy to run the MAFT? Will I need to put it on the dyno just to get the MAFT programmed right, or is it pretty cut and dry!!
Thanks

When you are ready to install the maft you will want to run the car with the bottle on the dyno with an a/f meter hooked up one time to see at what the a/f looks like. Once you have that then you can install the maft and add fuel where you need to. If I remember correctly the settings are at 2% increments and there is an adjustment for idle, WOT, and I believe one more. Make sure the maft you get has the chart indicating what dial operates what. After each adjsutment make a dyno run to see if you are getting the desired affects. Once you think you are where you want to be let the car cool down and dyno it one last time to make sure it is exactly where it needs to be. The addition of a maft is fairly easy it just will require a little time on the dyno.
