Wheels, tires and rear questions.

So the plans for my car include a 9" and a set of et streets. I want the tires to sit as completely insided the wheel well as possible. What wheel and tire size should I go with? Can I narrow the rear end to make room for bigger wheels/tires? I want to get a seperate set of wheels for the slicks and keep my stock stuff on for every day driving, if I narrow the rear end can I use a spacer to make the stock wheels work?

Well not really, I just read somwhere that a slightly narrowed rear can help tuck the tires all the way into the wheel well.
