I got a ss hood from someone in michigan about 4 months ago. I put it on, but I had the WORST time putting it on. I still dont htink ive got it lined up perfectly. I was just wondering if you guys could measure th egap all the way around your hoods, especially the front so i can see how far mine is off.

If i can ge my camera to work, ill put up some pics so you guys can see for yourself.

Thanks guys :D

OK, just made a trip to the Garage. Mine is just a hair under 1/4" on both sides, all the way up and down. At the front(where it meets the very top of the front facia, it's exactly 1/4".

I thought all car bodys should have a 1/4" gap at the most, gives the body a little room to flex. Have fun with the gaps, the front end of my car has a gap you could fit your head thru. When it was in a acc. the body shop didnt do shit right, so now I'm on a ever long quest to fix the gap.

This pic should show it (it was about double the size when I got the car, I've got it a little smaller then this now, but you can still see it like a white car with mud on it)

If you ever get up this way, I got a buddy next door at a body shop, he's got TEH tools for the job, he'll have that fixed in 10 minutes. ;)
