I have had a few problems with my alternator before, it seems like sometimes the voltage drops and then kicks back up for no reason. It doesn't matter if my lights, radio, a/c or anything else is on. Everynow and then the voltage will drop. Anybody else have issues like this?? Any suggestions?

The alternator was replaced about 3yrs ago while the warranty was still good, if I remember the problem really never went away. As far as voltage drop it only goes a little to the left of 13v, about 12.8 probably. Sure is a weird one.

mine does that sometimes when the car is cold....the lights will dim and the voltmeter will drop a lil bit. but i give it some more gas and it pops right back up and shes fine!
