like headers, exhuast thats made for them specifically, and so on and so forth. is the cam the same basic design, or is it different sized?

i remember someone saying that they gained HP from a header swap, so im guessing there are headers available. a muffler shop could make you a nice free-slowing exhaust w/ cutout.

edit: and by free-slowing, i of course, mean free-flowing

LG is working on some headers. I don't think anything's available YET, but it shouldn't be long.

I wonder how much of a difference there would be between LS1 and LS2 Corvette headers... :hmm: I know the engine is placed a little more forward, but what else is different?

You shoulda read the thread on the corvette forums where LG reported post-header hp numbers. C6 = slip fit, C5 = 2 bolt flange @ collector. Other than that, not much.

LS1 cams will work in the LS2... and most bolt-ons that aren't car specific. But I would imagine we will be seeing a totaly new set of grinds from everyone. The impatient can begin modding with many LS1 based parts though... :D

I should know this:o

but does the LS2 have the poor flowing airbox like the LS1's??
And does anyone make a new one for them if it is as bad as the LS1's
