I think it looks awsome. Pretty good match to my blackbird stripes even though it was a spray can. If it were real paint it would have been perfect, just needed a little more metallic to it. I can't wait to get it back on and see how it looks. I have regular corvette FRC's now and plan on painted them the same color with some ghost flames on them.

it's just a dark silver, it probably varies since it was out of a spray can. My buddy is a pretty good painter so I had him paint it. In total it cost me 8 dollars. Pretty good mod for 8 bucks if you as me.

Pewterws6, if you want the brand of paint it is I can tell ya the brand and color other than that it's just a dark silver metallic.

Edit: it is dupi-color GMC grey metallic.

My buddy painted it for me, all he did was sand it, clean it, a couple coats of dupli-color primer and then the dupli-color grey. It has no clear on it but you can't even tell, I'm really happy with it.

I'm putting it on saturday so I'll have pics of the intake installed then.

I think I've decided to do my lower bumper the same color. I still need more convincing myself though. :thumbup:

Great choice for color!! Looks great, Can't wait till I can attempt to tackle this project!! You might want to put some clear on it, just so it is easier to clean! Just a thought.
