SS Hood?

I know this subject has been talked to death.

Which SS hood should I get.


I kind of like the Mecham 4-port hood, but I have stripes on my car so I don't know if they will look good or not. (Anybody have good pics of it with 30th/35th type SS stripes?)

Either way, what is the best SS hood to get and also what is the major problem with aftermarket hoods that I need to consider?

Alot of people get the OEM SS hood, which is a great pick. VFN makes and SS hood that the scoop is 4 inches and I think they also make an SS hood with smaller hood scoop that is 2 or 3 inches. I dont think the Mecham SS hood would be a great pick, becasue people have had good and bad times with that hood. Look into the OEM and the VFN hoods.
