I have a window that will go down but decides when it wants to come up. Is there anything I can do short of having the motor replaced? :bashhead:

You can get one at auto zone for 57 bucks, and put it in yourself if you have an hour or so.

After you take off the door panel their is a plastic sheet, what did you use to put it all back together or do I even have to mess with that?

i've only had my car for a year and i replaced the driver's side motor TWICE and the passagers once. Now the passagers side is HELLA slow (again!) ............... Was mine a defect or something....? damn! its aggravating.

i just replaced my driver side motor about 2 weeks ago. its a bitch! it was around $60 for the motor and then it took me about 4 to 5 hours to put the damn thing in cuz i had to drill the bolts that were already in there and then drill an extra 2 holes. but my window did the same thing (went down but didnt want to come up) all you have to do is replace the motor. doesnt sound like much but make sure you dont have anything else going on that day. Good Luck.
