Currently, I am a freshman in college and I own a 99 Hawk with 33K (NBM and a TA I might add). With all this talk and pictures about the new corvette, I really want one! Will I be able to afford it? Probably not. How does everyone afford such a high priced vehicle? What is your secret to earning loads of cash to afford the new vette? Just pointless rambling but if anyone has more pics of different colors of new vettes, please post them.

quite easy, actually
Step 1: Get old and wealthy
Step 2: Buy Corvette

Actually I am not old at least not by idea of what is old. Also I am not wealthy or rich, but I have a good job that lets me buy what I want. :D
You can find all you want to know about the C6 from GMs web site.

I guess that would have been the obvious to go to gm's website. Thanks for the help though. I really want a new corvette, but I don't know why I am thinking that I would be able to get one. I would need a loan payment of ten years. How long would they finance these things anyway? I really like my firehawk though and I don't know if I could ever be able to sell it, just because of the rarity. I could also work my way towards an older zo6, such as a 2002 or something because they will become cheaper. Or, I could start saving a whole bunch of money somehow and try to get my hands on a new z06 in 06?

I too have the same problem.Do I sell one of my T/As to get the 06 ZO6 or go in debt for five. The answer is if I cant get what either of my cars is worth I want sell them.Since I all ready put $1000 down on a pre ordered Z I will have one in my garage anyway.:drive:

When will the new Z06 be coming out? I know 2006 but can anyone be more specific? What will the prices be? Do you think the 2002 Z06 will be really cheap by then?
Stay in college. You'll make the good $ with a degree compared to without. :)

What else do you want to know?Actually not to much more info is available right now, except powertrain and weight and some cosmetic features. Those are not a 100% but are very close.
The 2004 ZO6 prices are starting to drop,I have heard some going for $45,000.
