I put in a Comp 224/228 nitrous cam in last month and while running great it would not always idle. I was trying to avoid drilling into my TB but James (from RWTD) and myself reached the conclusion that it could not be tuned to idle without it.

1 size bigger than stock - 11/64 - it almost idled right

2 sizes bigger then stock - 3/16 - seems just right.

I always have that nice lopey sound at the stop light now (do not have to have my foot on the gas to make sure is stays running) AND it cold started this morning without my foot on the gas. :woot:

keep us updated. i always heard that drilling the tb blade was a temp solution because eventually the pcm will adjust....

Still running good. I did have issues with cold morning starts, right away, but went to 13/64.and it has been running like a top ever since

The tuner and I did mess with the IAC steps before all this and I would guess that people that have problems never had that tuned right in the first place so drilling the TB did not help. (just a guess)

lol, just noticed you have an a4 :p. with the stock 800 idle and drilled TB the car would idle and run, shitty, but it ran. i dont know how people said they ran this cam on stock tuning
